1. Make sure you are on the correct floor.
- if you want to insert a usable attic, then the level of the bottom of the knee walls will be the same as the level of the storey you are currently on.
- if you want to insert a non-usable roof, then the level of the lower edge of the roof will be the same as the storey you are currently on.
- the storey level is the upper level of the floor slab.
- all roofs are visible only after switching to a roof level.
2. Click the story icon in the top menu if you want to switch between stories.
- the active story on which elements are inserted is highlighted in white.
3. Tap the roof icon at the top of the screen.
4. A menu will appear on the left edge of the screen.
5. Select one of the top two icons: gable or hip roofs.
6. Choose the type of roof: with or without an attic. Knee walls are inserted automatically together with the roof.
7. On the plot, click where the lower left corner of the walls under the roof is. The edge of the roof will be moved away from this place by the amount corresponding to the "dimension of the eaves".
- the eaves dimension can be changed by clicking the icon in the roof menu.
- roof parameters such as: color, level, angle of inclination of roof slopes, height of knee walls, eaves dimension can be set in the roof menu, before drawing the roof.
- after drawing the roof, you can change: the color, the location of the support points on the walls.
8. A red point will appear to indicate where the lower left corner of the walls under the roof will be. You can change the position of this point using the arrows.
- The point moves according to the snap to the invisible grid. You can resize this grid using the -/+ icons in the upper right corner of the screen. Each time you press the icons, the bar at the bottom of the screen will show the current size of the snap grid.
- Accept the position of the point by pressing the "apply" button.
- If you want to give up drawing the wall, press "cancel".
9. After pressing the "apply" button, enter the upper right corner of the walls under the roof:
- click on the plot where the upper right corner of the walls under the roof should be
- a blue box will appear showing the appearance of the roof. This is a temporary illustration that will change if you change the position of the second point.
- edit the location of the point as you did the first point.
- accept the position of the point by pressing the "apply" button.
- if you want to give up drawing, press "cancel".
10. Press the "apply" button to insert the roof or "cancel".
